모시는 글

연명의료결정의 문제와 관련하여 한국에서는 2009년 김할머니 사건에 대한 대법원 판결이 있었고, 2013년에는 국가생명윤리심의위원회에서 연명의료결정에 대한 입법 권고안을 발표하기도 하였습니다. 2012년 9월 한국연구재단의 중점연구소 지원사업에 선정된 이화여자대학교 생명의료법연구소는 연명의료결정의 문제를 포함한 생명윤리 현안 쟁점들에 대해, 그리고 인간의 자율성에 대해 심층적인 연구를 수행해 오고 있습니다. 본 연구소는 오는 1월 23일에 연명의료결정의 문제에 대한 국제학술행사를 “자율성과 가족주의”라는 제목으로 개최하고자 합니다. 이 국제학술행사에서는 연명의료결정에 관한 일본, 중국, 대만, 싱가폴 등 동아시아 각국의 현황을 알아보고, 서구 중심의 자율성 존중의 원칙이 가족중심의 동아시아 사회에서 어떻게 구현되고 있는지 논의하고자 합니다. 이에 여러분을 초청합니다. 여러분의 참여와 활발한 토론으로 뜻 깊은 자리를 만들어 주십시오.
