안녕하십니까. 일전에 말씀 드렸던 것처럼, 올해 8월 28일(목)~29일(금) 이틀간 일본 교토 대학에서 제2회 동아시아 철학대회(Conference on Contemporary Philosophy in East Asia, CCPEA)가 개최됩니다. 여러 선생님들의 요청에 따라 일본 측 조직위원회에서 초록 제출 마감일을 5월 8일(목)로 연장하였음을 알려 드립니다.     

 

발표를 원하시는 선생님들께서는 5월 8일까지 대회 조직위원회 이메일 주소(ccpea2014@bun.kyoto-u.ac.jp)로 500 단어 이내의 영문 초록을 워드 또는 텍스트 파일로 첨부하여 보내주시기 바랍니다. 대회 발표 및 참가와 관련하여 좀 더 자세한 내용은 제2회 동아시아 철학대회 홈페이지를 참조해주시기 바랍니다. (www.cape.bun.kyoto-u.ac.jp/ccpea2014 )

 

일본 측 조직위원회의 사정으로 인해 초록 제출 마감일을 더 이상 연장하기는 어려운 상황이라고 합니다. 초록 준비 기간을 좀 더 충분히 드리지 못해 송구스럽게 생각하며, 이번 대회에 선생님들의 적극적인 관심과 참여를 부탁 드립니다. 감사합니다.

 The 2nd Conference on Contemporary Philosophy in East Asia

August 28~29, 2014

Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan 

 

The 2nd CCPEA aims to convene scholars, students and those interested in contemporary philosophy in East Asia to discuss and share the experience of shaping a new type of philosophy in this region. It follows the spirit of the first CCPEA held in the Academia Sinica, Taipei, in 2012. It is hoped that CCPEA will become an international platform for philosophical discussions in East Asia.

 

CALL FOR PAPERS

 

Please send your abstract as a microsoft word file or a text file to ccpea2014@bun.kyoto-u.ac.jp. The submission deadline isMay 8(Thurs), 2014. The abstract should be no more than 500 words.

The applicant should also provide the following information:

 1. Name (please capitalize your family name)

 2. Affiliation

 3. Title/Position

 4. Postal Address, Telephone Number, and Email Address

 5. Please let us know if you would attend or not without accommodation support from the CAPE.

 6. Abstract title

 7. Topics: Please choose the category of your presentation from the following. (You may choose more than one category.)

   (1) Contemporary philosophy in a broad sense
         philosophy of language, mind, action, society, art, law, logic, mathematics, science, technology, and religion, analytic Asian philosophy, comparative philosophy, metaphysics, epistemology, and so on. 
 
   (2) Applied philosophy and ethics
 
   (3) History of philosophy
 
   (4) Others

The notification of the results of applications will be e-mailed to each applicant by the end of May 2014.

 

ACCOMODATION SUPPORT

The CAPE will offer a limited number of accommodation support to young scholars from overseas. We hope that this system will encourage as many young scholars as possible to apply and to attend our conference. The CAPE covers an accommodation fee in Kyoto during the conference from August 27 to August 30. (check-out on Aug. 30).
